If you’re planning on making a sliding jig or fixture for your woodworking shop, the INCRA Miter Slider is exactly what you need. Turn on your saw and slide the table saw runner in for the cut, but only about 1 inch, then back it out. See if that end can fit in your miter slot. Shave just a bit off, about an inch into the runner. Check if that end fits into your miter slot. MITER SLED FOR SMALL TABLE SAW: My Little Shop of Jarfold has a new small table saw (23’ x 20’ top) for which I’ll be needing some new jigs. I built a small miter jig using scraps of 3/4’ plywood and some thinner scraps for the runners. In the drawing below these are R.Cos(Angle), R.Sin(Angle)+2, the squareness of the Sled Base, and the fit of the runners in your table saw slots. You can err on any of the first three and still get accurate cuts; it will just take longer to set up a Miter Fence for each new angle situation.
